the project

Travelodge gave me a blank canvass with which they wanted to completely re-shape the visual identity of their website.

Creating a new responsive solution utilising a new platform meant working heavily with the UX team in place while pinning down the businesses ideology for a future digital Travelodge experience. This meant challenging some of their current brand values in order to update and refresh the consumer opinion of a premium value hospitality proposition. 

the solution

Starting with Stakeholder workshops which I led, I determined the business opinion of the current digital offering. With this I created a creative brief for all parties to sign off on.

 

From this I engaged my creative team to utilise my creative process, embark on a critique of the industry creative landscape with documentation produced by myself to deliver back to client.

From our research we created a solid body of documented rationale with P.O.C for a brand new Travelodge digital experience with not only page concepts, but progression of the brand guidelines with aims to introduce a design system for all digital and brand attributes to populate.

 

This solution was omni channel in nature as the final deliverables included not only the B2C responsive site but also the in hotel Kiosk interfaces as well as a SME solution. The latter included the inclusion of the complexity of a sub - branded experience with bespoke user based permissions.
