the project
Morrisons had engaged with Bibendum, a beverages specialist based in London to embark on a new wine eCommerce site to compete with the likes of Majestic.
The brief was to create a bespoke consumer experience which was informative, simple to use but also had the functional complexity to create multiple wine 'cases' in basket which could be named, switched between and saved.
I was also tasked with the logo design for the brand as well as UI for the 'Taste Test' journey.
the solution
Utilising on Bibendums expertise, I initially engaged with the wine experts and Morrisons project team to determine the proposition and functionality from a consumer and business perspective.
With internal project team workshops I starting on paper sketching out pages based on an already OOTB web sphere starter store as a base plate.
The complexity came with the 'case builder' the solution put together in order to fulfil the functionality set out in the brief.
The project was delivered by producing an entire site with functional variables included, using Axure to design the wireframes.
I also completed the UI design on the key 'Taste Test' pages, using already set branded guidelines and designed the logo for the brand.
