the project

After being acquired by Home Retail Group, the Habitat website needed to be re-platformed onto a new OOTB Magento eCommerce model. Being a part of a wider build team myself and my creative team were engaged to re design the Habitat digital visual identity for the new platform.

the solution

By creating a heavily collaborative approach with the Habitat branding team, it allowed me to strategise a vision which allowed Habitats content to shine through a minimalistic UI framework across a new responsive site with an emphasis on mobile.

As Habitat are so design focussed with their product range I wanted the UI to take a back seat, while still allowing the main CTA's to be visible utilising an extremely limited colour palette.
